"Tsuki" (月) means moon in Japanese and the "Tsukimi" ( 月 見) is the celebration of the autumn moon in Japan. Tsukimi is a tradition dating back to the Heian period (794-1185), where Japanese aristocrats gazed at the moon's reflection in the water while reciting poems. Being both a nice reference to the moon and to Japanese traditions, this is how we decided to baptize our Matcha.
