Support Bali
The story behind Balinese craftsmanship offered here.
You should know that the tourism sector represents more than 58% of the economic activity of the island. With the border closures caused by the health crisis, Bali has been deprived of its tourists. Consequently, this had a strong impact on the infrastructures (hotels, restaurants, shops ...) as well as on the population, because many Balinese worked in the tourism sector. Having lost their jobs, many residents, and sometimes even entire families, found themselves in need.
Bali is a beautiful island in Indonesia that I fell in love with 7 years ago.
C 'It was during a stay in Ubud that I met Gus De (below) .
From this meeting was born a beautiful friendship which is now also a partnership for The Moonchild Wandering.
Our project
From the creation of The Moonchild Wandering, I wanted to integrate objects from Balinese craftsmanship in order to support, initially and on our small scale, traders and street artisans.
This project consists of using the proceeds from the sales of handicrafts to buy local necessities, such as food, and to prepare meals to distribute to all those in need. p >
Therefore, the profits from the sales of these artisanal products will be used to finance this association project that we want to set up as soon as possible.
Thanks to you,
